Over the past few years the majority of Sparkle and Shine commissions have been for weddings. The following photos show a few of these commissions and the items that the brides drew their ideas from.

Ben & Bronwen's Wedding

Bronwen wore a tiara made from cream czech glass pearl beads on twisted stems made from silver plated wiire. A simple yet elegant piece that tied in with her intricate lace dress.

Pattern and bead layout was taken from this tiara.

Jo and Mark's Wedding

Joanna wanted something to tie in with her dress. She had a lot of beaded detail on both her dress and veil so we used the same beads to match in her tiara. These were clear swarvoski crystals and small silver seed beads. The necklace and bracelet were both made with silver tiger tail which had the beads gently woven into it.

The tiara was made from crystals twisted onto stems of silver plated wire and gently curved so that the weaved in and out of one another.

Laura and Airon's Wedding

Laura wanted a headband so she chose one based on this traditional celtic crown shape. She chose ruby swarvoski crystals to go in the centre of each curve to tie in with the colour of her wedding flowers.

Sarah & Tim's Wedding

Sarah wanted a contemporary tiara with czech cream glass pearls. For the bridesmaids she wanted bracelets to match her tiara with a cream ribbon tie to match the ties around their dresses.

The bracelets were made in the same way as the one below.

The shape of her tiara was taken from this and the pearls were woven through the whole structure, not just at the base. Also the tiara was made in silver plated wire rather than gold.
